Kayne Anderson Energy Development Co. (KED) on Friday announced a quarterly distribution of $0.43 per share for the quarter ended August 31, 2012. The distribution represents an increase of 4.9% from the prior quarter's distribution of $0.41 per share and an increase of 13.2% from the distribution for the quarter ended August 31, 2011.
The new distribution will be payable on October 26 to common stockholders of record on October 17, with an ex-dividend date of October 15.
The company also announced its unaudited net asset value (NAV) of $248 million or $23.88 per share as of August 31, 2012, representing an increase of $1.20 per share (5.3%) from the company's NAV of $22.68 per share as of May 31, 2012.
