Michael O'Hare, the actor behind Commander Jeffrey Sinclair on "Bablyon 5," has died of a heart attack at the age of 60. "Babylon 5" creator J. Michael Straczynski broke news of O'Hare's passing in an official statement over the weekend.
"I regret that I must convey the sad news that Michael O'Hare passed away today. He suffered a heart attack on Sunday and was in a coma until his passing this afternoon. This is a terrible loss for all B5 fans and everyone involved with the show wishes to convey their condolences to the O'Hare family. He was an amazing man," Straczynski wrote.
O'Hare starred on the show for its entire first season and returned as a guest star on several episodes in seasons two and three. He also made guest appearances on "Law and Order."
