Orkin Acquires Portions Of Hulett Environmental Services - Quick Facts

Atlanta-based pest control leader Orkin, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rollins Inc (ROL), announced that it has acquired eight North Florida locations from Hulett Environmental Services Inc., based in West Palm Beach, Fla. The purchased branches are in Orlando, Daytona Beach, Sarasota, Oviedo (East Orlando), Tampa Bay, Lake County, Melbourne and Kissimmee.

Revenue for the acquired branches exceeds $8 million, and the transaction was for an undisclosed sum. Other Hulett branches in South Florida will remain with the Hulett family and are not a part of this transaction.

Hulett Environmental Services was established in 1968 in West Palm Beach, Fla. With 2011 revenues exceeding $35 million, Hulett is a leading provider of pest control and lawn care services in Florida. The acquired branches will transition to the Orkin name in a suitable timeframe for employees and customers.
