David Blaine has revealed plans for his most recent stunt, a feat he called "Electrified: One Million Volts Always On." For the stunt, Blaine will surround himself with one million volts of electricity from a series of Tesla poles for 72 hours straight.
He will be enduring the electricity by wearing what is known as a Faraday suit, which includes chain mail, and insulating items like a helmet, gloves and headphones. In a press event earlier this week he confirmed that he will fast throughout the stunt and will use a catheter.
"I had wanted to do this for years," he said adding that the experience is like "being in the middle of a lightning storm, it feels so amazing, being in an environment you shouldn't be in."
The stunt will take place on New York City's pier 54.
