The famous Dorothy dress is going up on the auction block. Judy Garland's dress from the classic film "The Wizard of Oz," will be up for grabs next month when celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien auctions off the dress.
Julien believes that the dress could possibly bring in as much as a half million dollars. Even though several replicas of the dress have been made this dress is the only one that was seen in the film, and is the only complete original dress to survive.
The dress will be on display at London's Stafford Hotel starting Tuesday, October 9, before being exhibited at Julien's auctions in Beverly Hills, California on November 5-9. The auction will take place on November 9-10.
