JBT Corp. (JBT) announced that its JBT AeroTech business has received orders in excess of $4 million from Air Namibia.
The company stated that the contract is for the supply of a variety of airport ground support equipment including cargo transporters, aircraft push back tractors and mobile passenger boarding steps to support the expanding domestic and intercontinental flight operations of Namibia's national air carrier.
JBT said that the order was received in the third quarter of 2012 with equipment shipments currently scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2012 and continue into the first quarter of 2013.
