Mulberry Group plc. (MUL.L), on Tuesday reported a rise in total revenue by 6 percent for the six month period ended September 30 to 76.5 million pounds from 72.3 million pounds last year.
For the period, retail revenue increased to 46.5 million pounds from 41.0 million pounds. However, wholesale revenue for the period slumped slightly to 30.0 million pounds from 31.3 million pounds last year.
Looking ahead, the company expects revenue growth for the year to March 31, 2013 to be below market expectations, owing to lower wholesale revenue.
