Guns n' Roses will have a Las Vegas street temporarily re-named in their honor this week. The band will be launching a month-long residency on Halloween night at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and to mark the occasion the hotel will rename nearby Paradise Road, Paradise City Road.
A ceremony will take place on Wednesday (October 31) afternoon at 2:30PM PAC, near the hotel's main entrance, where the band will be presented with an official street sign by Clark County Commissioner Mary Beth Scow. Executives from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and AEG Live, the producers of 'Appetite for Democracy' residency will also be on hand.
Guns N' Roses residency goes from October 31-November 24, and like the recent Motley Crue residency, the casino will have special Guns N' Roses $25 chips to gamble with during the run. In addition, the casino has come up with a number of GNR-themed drinks, including such concoctions as the November Rain, the Patience Punch, the Paradise City Limits and the Axl Rose.
