Russian gas pipeline systems operator Oao Gazprom (OGZPF.PK,OGZPY.PK,GAZP) reported a drop in six-month pre-tax profit to 655.07 billion Russian rubles, from last year's 973.98 billion Russian rubles, with profit attributable to shareholders of OJSC Gazprom slipping to 508.67 billion Russian rubles, from 771.67 billion Russian rubles a year before.
Half-yearly revenues from sales, net of VAT, excise and customs duties, decreased by 116,705 million rubles., or 5%, compared with the prior year and totaled 2.23 trillion Russian rubles.
