Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys, Ciara Perform At 2012 Black Girls Rock!

Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys and Ciara all took the stage over the weekend (November 4) at the BET network's Black Girls Rock! special.

Cole performed her new single, "Trust and Believe," from her forthcoming album, Woman to Woman, while Ciara did "Sorry," a single from her upcoming album, One Woman Army. She also played "1, 2 Step," on which she was joined by Missy Elliott.

In addition to performing "New Day" and "Girl on Fire," Keys was honored with the Rock Star Award. Others honored on the evening were Dionne Warwick (Living Legend Award) and Janelle Monae (the Young, Gifted & Black Award).

Beverly Bond, the creator and executive producer of the ceremony, speaking with the Washington Post, said the event was created to honor "role models" for black women and to promote "positivity."
