Robert Plant is currently in the studio and may have a new album in the works according to guitarist and producer Buddy Miller (Band of Joy).
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Miller said that he and Plant have got together for some jam sessions in his Nashville studio last year:
"We didn't mean to, but we sort of wrote a record's worth [of material] and I said, 'while we're doing this, why don't I put up some mics and document it,' because that's better than just trying to remember it or record it on your phone. It sounded so good I think we, you know, accidentally made a record."
According to Miller, should the record be released, it wouldn't come until next year. In the meantime, Plant has a slate of November tour dates, picking up on the 7th at Santiago, Columbia's Arena Movistar.
