MicroVision Inc. (MVIS), a provider of ultra-miniature projection display technology, Monday reported third-quarter net loss of $3.8 million or $0.15 per share, compared with net loss of $7.8 million or $0.57 per share last year.
On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $0.20 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues for the quarter were lower at $2.6 million, compared with $1.8 million a year ago. Analysts expected revenues of $2.17 million.
