A new Van Halen album may be released sometime next year, according to a post on MelodicRock.com, which states that the band recorded enough material during the A Different Kind Of Truth sessions to fill two albums.
"What I have today comes under the 'rumor' category, so don't shoot the messenger folks, just passing it along as it came from a good source," the post reads.
"What I heard today was that the band, when recording A Different Kind Of Truth, recorded enough material for a second release. Stay tuned."
The post continues on to say that the follow-up to this year's A Different Kind of Truth "could find its way into our hands in the first quarter of 2013 before the next leg of the band's tour commences."
