Microsoft has posted its Build Conference notes, taken from the annual event for developers in Redmond, Washington, online for all to see. The notes range from CEO Steve Ballmer's keynote address to sessions on developing programs for the company's new operating system Windows 8.
All the content is available via Microsoft's Channel 9 page. Among the highlights are Ballmer's announcement that Window's 8 sold 4 million copies over its initial weekend.
Ballmer also spoke on the Windows Phone 8, which he says will deliver a "golden age of opportunity" for developers. It may be wishful thinking on the part of MS which needs third-party developers to help its OS succeed, especially considering the amount of ground the company has ceded to Android an iOS.
