Universal Display Corp. (PANL) reported a third quarter net loss of $0.12 per share after the bell Wednesday, compared to the profit of $0.12 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.05. Revenues declined 43 percent to $12.50 million from $21.78 million in the same period last year.
Universal Display gapped open sharply lower Thursday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed down by 5.06 at $23.12 on the highest volume of the year. Universal Display sank to a new low for the year.
