Institutional Venture Partners portfolio company, KAYAK Software Corp. (KYAK), Friday announced a definitive agreement to be acquired by Priceline.com Inc. (PCLN), in a stock and cash transaction.
Under the terms of agreement, Priceline will pay approximately $500 million in cash and $1.3 billion in equity and assumed stock options. The transaction values at $1.8 billion or $40 per share of KAYAK.
