SouFun Holdings Ltd. (SFUN) Monday released the financial results for the third quarter 30 September 2012, reporting that net income attributable to shareholders for the third quarter increased to $49.17 million from US$ 42.85 million reported for the corresponding quarter last year. Earnings per class A and Class B share for the quarter increased to $0.64 from US$0.56 per share in the same period last year.
Non-GAAP net income attributable to shareholders for the third quarter was US$56.16 million, an increase of 25.5% from $44.72 million reported in the corresponding period in 2011. Non-GAAP earnings per fully diluted share was US$0.70, compared with US$0.55 for the corresponding period in 2011.
Revenues in the third quarter of 2012 were US$127.24 million, a 17.1% increase from the corresponding period in 2011.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of US$0.55 per share on revenues of US$122.34 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company raised its revenue guidance for fiscal year of 2012 to between US$400.0 million and US$420.0 million from the prior range of US$389.0 million and US$410.0 million. Analysts expect the company to report revenues of $411.53 million for fiscal 2012.
