Trent Reznor has revealed the theme song from the forthcoming soundtrack to the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The track is currently streaming on the web and adds a dark and moody touch to the full score, composed by Jack Wall.
The release comes at a busy time for Reznor, who is also prepping the release of the debut album from his side project How To Destroy Angels. Their debut EP, titled An Omen, is due next year.
Trent says after that release he is likely to return to Nine Inch Nails:
"Having a few years doing other things, I've enjoyed [them] and I'm enjoying doing How to Destroy Angels," he said last week, "and there will be a place for stuff that falls in the Nine Inch Nails column of things. It's a different kind of work. Stay tuned."
