Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of the Who were in Washington, D.C. on November 12 to help raise awareness for their teenage cancer charity, Who Cares: Teen Cancer America. The organization was launched last year, after over 20 years of cancer raising awareness in the U.K. with their Teenage Cancer Trust.

"All you rich rock stars out there: get off your butts!" yelled Daltrey before the National Press Club in the nation's capitol before giving a long and impassioned speech in support of his foundation.

Who Cares' first facility was launched in California last November. The UCLA Daltrey/Townshend Teen and Young Adult Zone has treated 16 patients since its establishment.

When asked whether the Who planned to put on a show for their teenage beneficiaries, Daltrey quipped, "We might kill off the rest of the hospital!"
