Mosaic Co. (MOS) lowered its volume guidance for both the Phosphates and Potash segments in the second fiscal quarter of 2013 after the bell Tuesday, while also tightening the price forecasts to the upper end of the previously announced ranges.
Mosaic gapped open lower Wednesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock ended the day lower by 1.65 at $49.10, with volume at a 4-month high. Mosaic has been declining for nearly 2 months and set a 5-month low.
