Twitter will now allow users to share their favorite Tweets via email, the social networking site announced yesterday. The company is giving users the ability to share tweets beyond their list of followers on the social media site.
"Of course, you can retweet any of these to your Twitter followers, but sometimes you want to share with another group, like your college roommates or your parents or a friend who isn't yet on Twitter," wrote Twitter engineer Stefan Flip in the post.
To use the e-mail function on Twitter's site, all users have to do is click on the "More" icon next to the familiar reply, retweet and favorite buttons on the site. Users can also add their own comments to tweets they e-mail.
