Animal wranglers that were involved in making "The Hobbit," are now saying that up to 27 animals have died as a result of where they were kept. Apparently the animals were kept at a farm that was filled with bluffs, sinkholes and other "death traps."
The American Humane Association, which oversees the well-being of animals on film sets have said that no animals were harmed during filming.
A spokesman for the film said that the deaths of two horses were avoidable, however after that the crew did their best to improve the conditions. The spokesman also added that the deaths that occurred after that were from natural causes.
