The Japanese yen slipped against other major currencies in the European morning session on Thursday.
The yen dipped to 7-1/2-month lows of 82.85 against the greenback, 132.36 against the pound, 67.55 against the NZ dollar, 85.99 against the aussie and 83.18 against the loonie.
Against the euro and the franc, the yen hit near a 7-month low of 106.60 and a 6-1/2-month low of 88.51, respectively.
