Jones Lang LaSalle Promotes Lauralee Martin To CEO, Americas - Quick Facts

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Tuesday said it has promoted its Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Lauralee Martin, to Chief Executive Officer, Americas, effective January 1, 2013. Martin replaces Peter Roberts who will serve as Chief Strategy Officer.

Martin joined Jones Lang LaSalle as CFO and was later promoted to COO. Until a new CFO is appointed, Martin will retain his responsibility for the function.

Ford Motor Company on Thursday reported a 56 percent fall in profit for the third quarter from last year, reflecting safety-recall expenses, product launch costs and lower profit in North America. However, adjusted earnings per share beat analysts' estimates. Social media site Twitter Inc.
