Eric Clapton will reportedly join the Rolling Stones on stage at their London concert on Friday night (November 29) to commemorate the British band's 50th anniversary, reports The Mirror. No word on what song or songs Clapton might lend a hand on when he takes the stage at the O2 Arena.
Clapton is one of several all-star musicians set to join the band on stage for their run in London. Mary J. Blige joined the band the first night to sing "Gimme Shelter," while Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine will join them Friday to sing the same song.
After the London concerts, the Stones head off to the U.S. for a pair of dates in Brooklyn and New Jersey. No word if special guests are slated to appear at either of those shows.
