50 Cent Announces Street King Immortal Release Date

Those anxiously awaiting a new studio release from 50 Cent will have to wait until February.

50 announced that his fifth studio album, Street King Immortal, will drop on February 26. The follow-up to 2009's Before I Self Destruct has spawned the singles "New Day," which features Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys, "First Date," featuring Too $hort, and "My Life," featuring Emimen and Adam Levine. 50 also teams with Chris Brown for the track "Lighters."

"STREET KING IMMORTAL Coming FEB26," 50 tweeted. "I will not let you down. I have really been working on this album. STREET KING IMMORTAL will be a classic."

The new album, which borrows its title from his Street King energy drink, marks his final project for Interscope Records before his contract is due for renewal.
