Eddie Vedder has signed on to host his very own Sirius/XM satellite radio show. The program, titled The Eddie Vedder Radio Show, will run for a limited time starting December 5 on Sirius/XM.
"Eddie has been the voice of a generation and a voice with a conscience," said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer, in a statement. "[His] record collection could tell some stories all by itself, let alone with Eddie at the helm."
A press release from the network adds that Eddie will spotlight "many of his all-time favorite songs, from early punk rock influences to unreleased material from his personal archives."
The network also recently confirmed a new radio show with fellow grunge legend Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. His show, Dave Grohl Presents Sound City, will focus on the songs recorded at the famed Los Angeles studio.
