Merck Names Constantin Fest To Head Investor Relations Dept.

Merck & Co. Inc. (MRK) announced that Constantin Fest will head its Investor Relations department as of January 1, 2013. He will succeed Joshua Young. Constantin Fest will report to Matthias Zachert, Chief Financial Officer of Merck.

Constantin Fest joined the Merck Investor Relations department in June 2012 and has a broad investor relations background. Prior to Merck, he worked for the Lanxess Investor Relations department and for its Treasury.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has made its first crypto-specific appointment with Justin Schmidt, a former cryptocurrency trader, as the financial services giant aims to explore creating a bitcoin trading desk, reports said.
