Coldplay sold off a number of pieces created by Paris, the band's artist in residence, for their last album, Mylo Xyloto. The pieces collectively raised $800,000 on the auction block.
The highest bidded item, a large graffiti covered wall featured on the cover of the album, was sold to "an anonymous bidder from the Far East" for $653,000, according to OK! magazine.
Other items up for grabs included photographs from the group's world tour and autographed copies of Mylo Xyloto artwork, all of which pulled in about $176,000. Funds raised from the auction will benefit the Kids Company charity.
Thrilled with the amount raised, the boys in the band hit Twitter to thank everyone involved:
"Take a bow Coldplay fans. An incredible £610,000 raised so far from the Mylo art sale."
