Kimberton Whole Foods has removed raw milk products packaged by Kimberton Farms Dairy from its Kimberton and Downingtown stores, following an increase in the incidence of severe gastro enteric symptoms among persons who drank raw milk.
Kimberton Farms Dairy is also known as Camp Hill Dairy or Kimberton Hills.
The Chester County Health Department is working with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and neighboring County Health Departments on this investigation.
In a company blog post, Kimberton Whole Foods said that Kimberton Farms Dairy hopes to return their raw milk to the shelves of Kimberton Whole Foods on January 6th, 2013, if the tests on their product continue to yield negative results for Salmonella.
