Shares of Boston Beer Company Inc. (SAM) surged more than 12% in after hours trading after the brewer raised its 2012 earnings outlook, citing mainly increased shipment volumes and the timing of certain selling, general and administrative expenses.
Endo Health Solutions Inc. (ENDP) shares fell more than 5% in extended hours trading after the specialty healthcare solutions said it now anticipates 2012 adjusted earnings per share to be at or below the low end of its previous guidance range of $5.00 to $5.10. The company also said it no longer expects to achieve its previous 2013 guidance for revenues of $3.0 to $3.2 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $5.20 to $5.40. Additionally, the company said its President and Chief Executive Officer, David Holveck, will retire next year.
