Paul McCartney was among the stars who performed at Wednesday night's 12.12.12 Concert For Sandy Relief. His set included the Beatles classics "Helter Skelter" and "Blackbird," as well as the Wings track "Let Me Roll It."

He also teamed with the surviving members of Nirvana - Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear and Dave Grohl - for a new track called "Cut Me Some Slack," which will be featured in Sound City, a documentary Grohl directed.

Other acts included Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Roger Waters and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

Funds raised by the concert, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The storm hit the Northeastern U.S. in October, causing an estimated $65 billion in damage.

The concert was broadcast live over a number of TV networks.

The event also featured appearances by various celebrities, including Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx, Billy Crystal, Susan Sarandon, Adam Sandler, Brian Williams, Kristen Stewart, Jon Stewart and Chelsea Clinton.
