Gulf Island Fabrication Inc.(GIFI), Thursday announced the appointment of Kirk Meche as the Company's new Chief Executive Officer and President effective January 1, 2013 and replacing Kerry Chauvin, who will step down on January 1, amid ill-health
Additionally, the company named John Laborde, a member of the Company's Board of Directors as chairman. The Company added that Chauvin, post his retirement shall serve as a consultant to the company's Board of Directors and the management.
