NewMarket Prices $350 Million Of Senior Notes

NewMarket Corp. (NEU: Quote) said Thursday that it has priced its private offering of $350 million aggregate principal amount of 4.10% senior notes due 2022, at an issue price of 99.83%.

The company expects the private offering to close on or about December 20.

NewMarket plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay a portion of its borrowings under its revolving credit facility.

Gap Profit Climbs 43%
Gap Inc. Thursday after the markets closed that its first quarter profit rose 43% from last year, helped by higher sales and improved margins. The company's quarterly earnings per share also came in above analysts' expectations as did its quarterly sales.
