European Economics Preview: Eurozone Flash PMI Data Due

Flash Purchasing Managers' survey and final inflation from euro area are due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association is slated to issue Europe's new car registration data for November. Sales were down 4.8 percent in October.

In the meantime, Finland's inflation data is due. Annual inflation is seen easing marginally to 2.5 percent in November from 2.6 percent in October.

At 3.00 am ET, Markit Economics is slated to release flash PMI data. The French manufacturing PMI is forecast to rise to 44.9 in December from 44.5 in November and services PMI to improve to 46 from 45.8. Hungary's final industrial output is due.

Germany's flash PMI figures are due at 3.30 am ET. The manufacturing index is seen at 47.3, up from 46.8 in November. Likewise, the services PMI is forecast to rise to 50 from 49.7.

At 4.00 am ET, Eurozone PMI data is due. The composite PMI is expected to rise slightly to 46.9 in December from 46.5 in November.

Eurozone final inflation data is due at 5.00 am ET. According to preliminary estimate, inflation fell to 2.2 percent from 2.5 percent in October. In the meantime, employment data for the third quarter is due.
