Vince Gill served as host for the String Fever benefit concert on Thursday, which was an event dedicated to raising money for the Tennessee State Museum Foundation.

Also on the bill for the concert were Marty Stuart, Steve Wariner, Larry Carlton, Duane Eddy, Steve Cropper and John Jorgenson. The show took place at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

The benefit concert was staged in conjunction with the exhibition, "The Guitar: An American Love Story," which will run through December 30. Included in the exhibition are more than 150 rare instruments and guitars that have been previously owned by celebrities, including a 1953 Fender Telecaster played by the Rolling Stones' Keith Richards and several guitars owned by Vince, including his famed 1942 Martin D-28.

Other famous previous guitar owners include Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton and Roy Rogers.
