AVG Technologies N.V. (AVG: Quote) announced a new Search and Distribution relationship with Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO: Quote) after the close Thursday.
AVG Technologies gapped up slightly Friday and climbed sharply during the first hour of trade. The stock ended the day with a gain of 1.16 at $15.24 on strong volume. AVG Technologies broke out of a 2 1/2 week range and set over an 8-month high.
