Lynyrd Skynyrd made the list of TouchTunes most played artists. TouchTunes, the largest in-venue interactive entertainment network in North America, released its list for 2012, culled from more than 57,000 U.S. jukeboxes.
Other country stars to make the grade included Eric Church, Johnny Cash and the Zac Brown Band, along with AC/DC, Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Nickelback and Rolling Stones.
Top honors, however, went to Jason Aldean, whose "Dirt Road Anthem" was the most popular song two years running:
"Knowing that the real people across America are choosing my music while they're out having fun at the kind of hangouts where I got my start is a great thing," he said.
Meanwhile, Carly Rae Jepsen's mega-hit "Call Me Maybe" was the most played song by TouchTunes mobile app users.
