National American University Holdings Inc. (NAUH: Quote) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income attributable to the company and subsidiaries of $2.9 million or $0.11 per share, compared to $1.9 million or $0.07 per share last year.

Total revenue for the quarter grew to $34.51 million from $30.45 million in the comparable quarter last year.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.09 per share on revenues of $34.72 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time gains or losses.
