Progress Software Corp. (PRGS) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP EPS from continuing operations of $0.23 after the bell Thursday, compared to $0.36 in the same quarter last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter were $91.3 million, essentially flat on a constant currency basis year over year, or down 2% using actual exchange rates.
Progress Software climbed during the first half hour of trade Friday, but settled into a range for the remainder of the session. The stock closed up by 1.13 at $22.02 on above average volume. Progress Software closed challenging resistance, trading at a 3-month high.
