After-market Movers For Jan 9 (FB, PSMT, VOXX, RT, QUIK)

Gainers:

Facebook, Inc. (FB) gained 0.26 percent to $30.67. The company's stock surged 5 percent today and surpassed the $30 mark after a few months gap.

PriceSmart, Inc. (PSMT) rose 6 percent to $82.51. The company's first quarter profit surged from the year-ago quarter and was above the Wall Street view. Net warehouse club sales for the quarter rose 11.8 percent. Net sales for the month of December increased 11.6 percent.

VOXX International Corp. (VOXX) jumped 17 percent to $9.16. The company's third qurter earnings and net sales improved from the previous year period. Electronics sales surged 21.4 percent primarily due to the addition of Hirschmann sales.

Decliners:

Ruby Tuesday, Inc. (RT) declined 10 percent to $7.50. The company's second quarter net loss widened from the year-ago quarter. Total revenue for the quarter decreased 1.0 percent and was below the consensus estimate. The company also lowered its earnings forecast for fiscal 2013.

QuickLogic Corp. (QUIK) plunged 9 percent to $2.01 as the company slashed is revenue guidance for its fourth quarter. The company noted that it is disappointed in its revenue performance for the quarter.
