Ascena Retail Group Inc. (ASNA) announced Thursday morning that comparable store sales for the combined November and December holiday period declined 2 percent from last year.
The company also lowered its full-year 2013 EPS forecast to between $1.20 and $1.30. Previous guidance was for EPS of $1.45 to $1.55. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $1.53.
Ascena Retail Group gapped open sharply lower Thursday and is now down 2.08 at $16.04 on above average volume. The stock has dropped to over an 11 1/2 month low.
