Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) reported third-quarter net profit of Rs.871.36 crore, up from Rs.753.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. Total income increased to Rs.6,788.54 crore form the Rs.6,035.61 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
The company's board approved a proposal to enter into a fresh agreement with Unilever PLC. for the continued provision of technology, trademark licenses and other services
At the BSE, Hindustan Unilever shares are being traded at Rs.466.40, down 5.94 from the previous close.
