Total System Services Inc. (TSS), a provider of Electronic payment processing, reported a fourth-quarter net income attributable to common shareholders of $60.9 million or $0.32 per share, compared to $59.9 million or $0.31 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
On average, 21 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.33 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues for the quarter grew 1.5 percent to $479.10 million from $472.23 million in the prior-year quarter, while ten analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $485.49 million for the quarter.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2013, the company expects net income of $266 million to $272 million or $1.43 to $1.45 per share, and revenues are expected in the range of $1.955 billion to $1.995 billion.
Analysts currently expect the company to earn $1.44 per share on revenue of $1.98 billion for the full year 2013.
