3M Co. (MMM) is expected to report results for the fourth quarter before the markets open. The diversified technology company is expected to record earnings of $1.41 per share, higher than $1.35 per share reported a last year, while quarterly revenues are anticipated to increase to $7.18 billion from $7.09 billion in the prior year. Biopharmaceutical firm Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (BMY) is also scheduled to report fourth quarter results before the start of trading. The company is expected to post earnings of $0.43 per share, lower than the year-ago quarter's $0.53 per share. The company is also expected to generate revenues of $4.12 billion, down from $5.45 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Wednesday's session at $34.90. Document technology and business process services provider Xerox Corp. (XRX) is slated to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.29 per share on revenues of $5.88 billion, while in the year-ago quarter, earnings and revenue were $0.33 per share and $5.96 billion respectively. Telecommunications giant AT&T, Inc. (T) will report its fourth quarter results after the close of trading. The earnings of the company are expected to rise to $0.46 per share from $0.42 per share reported a year earlier, whereas quarterly revenues are anticipated at $32.22 billion, slightly lower than $32.50 billion reported a year earlier. Software giant Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is due to post its fourth quarter results. The Redmond, Washington-based company's earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.75 per share and $21.53 billion, respectively. In the previous year, the company posted earnings of $0.78 per share on revenues of $20.88 billion. The company's shares closed Wednesday's session at $27.61. (52-wk H/L $32.95/$26.26)

The world's largest specialty coffee retailer Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) is expected to post first-quarter results. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.57 per share on revenues of $3.84 billion. A year earlier, earnings and revenue were $0.50 per share and $3.44 billion, respectively. The stock closed Wednesday's regular trading at $54.46. (52-wk H/L $62.00/$43.04)
