Electronics For Imaging (EFII) Leaped To A New High On Q4 Earnings News

Electronics for Imaging (EFII) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.42 per share after the bell Thursday, compared to $0.36 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.36. Revenues were $171.4 million, up 7% from $163.1 million last year. The consensus estimate was for revenues of $168.63 million.

Electronics for Imaging gapped up Friday and rose sharply during the first half hour of trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished with a gain of 2.69 at $22.61 on above average volume. The stock surged past the upper end of a 2-week range and set a new high for the year.
