Nordea Bank AB (NRDEF.PK) posted higher fourth-quarter profit on ordinary activities of 1.06 billion euros, compared with 1.03 billion euros last year, with earnings per share rising to 0.21 euros, from 0.19 euros in the comparable period.
Risk-adjusted profit totaled 846 million euros, up from the prior year's 815 million euros.
Net interest income for the period remained almost flat at 1.43 billion euros. Total operating income grew 3 percent to 2.63 billion euros from a year ago.
The bank proposed a dividend of 0.34 euros per share for full year 2013.
