Multimedia Games (MGAM: Quote) reported first quarter pro forma EPS of $0.24 Wednesday morning, up from $0.12 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.13.
Multimedia Games gapped open higher Wednesday and rose steadily until around mid-morning. The stock finished up by 2.43 at $16.72, with volume at a 6-month high. Multimedia Games closed challenging resistance at the highs of the year, trading at nearly a 3-month high.
