Volkswagen of America Inc., a unit of Volkswagen AG (VOW.BE,VLKAF.PK,VKW.L), reported Friday that it has sold 29,018 Vehicles in January 2013, up 6.7% from 27,208 Vehicles in the same month last year.
Passat sales for the month rose 40.2% to 8,856 units from 6,318 units in the year ago month.
Total Jetta sales, including Jetta Sedan and Sport Wagen, were 10,522 units, down 4% from 10,962 units last year.
