Rockwell Medical, Inc. (RMTI) is rising 25 percent to $8.10 based on the news that its iron delivery drug SFP met the primary endpoint in the PRIME clinical study, demonstrating a statistically significant 37 percent reduction in ESA dose.
Randgold Resources Ltd. (GOLD) is up. The company's fourth quarter profit declined from the year-ago period, while pre-tax profit improved from the previous year period. Production for the quarter increased 13 percent. The company said it is still focused on reaching its annual production target of plus 1.2 million ounces of gold by 2015. The company also proposed to increase the annual dividend by 25 percent.
